An opening session devoted to public interest
Held in Manakara, the inaugural session of the Territorial Coordination Council brought together municipal representatives, relevant administrative authorities and several civic actors involved in heritage preservation and the strengthening of local public services.
The opening statements emphasised that 2026 should be guided by institutional clarity, stronger coordination between municipalities and continuity in public-interest initiatives already underway across the Antemoro territory.
Three directions formally adopted
- improving circulation of information between the institution, municipalities and technical partners;
- consolidating the annual calendar of actions devoted to written heritage and cultural transmission;
- supporting the most immediate needs of riverside and coastal localities facing shoreline vulnerability.
A stabilised working method
The general secretariat introduced a quarterly monitoring arrangement aimed at documenting project progress, identifying cooperation needs and ensuring a regular transmission of local requests.
This installation marks an important step in consolidating institutional action. It confirms the determination of the Kingdom of Antemoro to organise its decisions around service, territorial balance and shared responsibility.
